Prices are shown in euros including all taxes applicable on the order date, unless stated otherwise and excluding payment, handling and shipping fees. All orders are payable in euros.
For an order to a country other than mainland France, the client is the importer: customs duties, local taxes and import duties remain at their charge and under their responsibility, declarations included.
Equi-rider may change prices at any time; an order is invoiced at the rate in force when it is validated. Products remain Equi-rider's property until full payment, while risk passes to the client on taking physical possession.
Orders are placed online at equi-rider.com. Contractual information is presented in French and confirmed at the latest when the order is validated.
Equi-rider may decline to record a payment or confirm an order, in particular in case of supply issues or a difficulty with the order received.
Any order implies full acceptance of these terms, without exception or reservation. Confirmation stands as signature and acceptance of the operations carried out.
The data provided and the recorded confirmation stand as proof of the transaction. A summary of the order and of these terms is sent as a PDF with the confirmation email.
Validating an order entails the obligation to pay the stated price. Payment is made by bank card through a secure system.
The card is debited when the order is fulfilled; where delivery is split, only the items dispatched are debited.
Under article L.121-21 of the French Consumer Code, consumers have fourteen days from receipt to withdraw without giving reasons or paying a penalty. Returns must be complete and in their original condition, return costs are borne by the consumer, and reimbursement occurs within fourteen days of notification using the original payment method.
The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to services fully performed before the end of the period with the consumer's prior express agreement and waiver, to customised goods, to goods liable to deteriorate quickly, or to unsealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Services and products are offered subject to availability. If an item is unavailable, the client is informed and may obtain a refund or a replacement.
Digital access is opened once payment is confirmed. For physical shipments, including prizes, Equi-rider is not liable for a delay caused solely by the client's unavailability after several delivery appointments proposed by the carrier.
Products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects under articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code: a non-conforming product may be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Any claim, exchange or refund request must be made by phone within thirty days of delivery. Products are returned with all their elements; shipping costs are refunded on the basis of the invoiced rate and return costs on presentation of receipts. These provisions do not affect the right of withdrawal in article 6.
The services offered comply with French law. Equi-rider is not liable for non-compliance with the law of the country of delivery: clients must check import and use conditions with their local authorities.
Equi-rider is not liable for damage resulting from misuse, nor for inconveniences inherent to internet use such as service outages, external intrusion or computer viruses.
The language of the contract is French. These terms are subject to French law and, in case of dispute, French courts have sole jurisdiction.
